It's funny how little things can make such an enormous difference.
I bought myself some new lighting today for my studio. My huge halogen lights that I used for quite a while finally died and so my studio has been dark. I'm going to go set it all up and see how well it works - hopefully it will until I can get appropriate lighting installed in the ceiling. We make do sometimes don't we?
I'm so tickled for a friend of mine (Deb) who's art is taking off for her. She has a line of her work on Cafe Press for sale if you're interested. It's good to see her work getting such great exposure. You can check her stuff out at her website http://debra-bailey.artistwebsites.com/ and I believe there is a link to her Cafe Press pages there as well.
I'm really hoping to be able to attend some classes this year. There is a great Encaustic class coming up with Sharon DiGiulio that I would love to make but I have to double check the dates and times. Very cool stuff indeed!
Anyway, I was just so tickled about my new lighting I had to share. Like I said, its the little things. :D

Hope your lights will be great for you!!! I need some BAD! That encaustic class sounds so awesome...there are some classes that I am eyeing as well! I just love Sharon, she is such an awesome instructor!!
ReplyDeleteBought an inexpensive lamp at Target for now that holds 3 100Watt bulbs and it's great. Still not my ideal lighting situation but SOOOO much better! Yeah, encaustic sounds wonderful. Just have to see if I can do it...
