Don't you just love it when you've painted and you fall asleep with paint still splattered on you? I woke up this morning and saw the various little dabs of color all over and smiled because I knew I had been painting. (happy sigh) I was so tired I didn't take a shower.
I'm in progress still on my big painting. It's for my oldest son. He's redecorated and wanted a painting. I'm really excited about getting this one completed for him.
I've begun prepping the canvas for one of my commissions. Lots of ideas swimming around in my head. Now I just have to start on it.
Friday I was fortunate enough to go to a Demo from a wonderful teacher/rep from Liquitex on various acrylic mediums. I had a problem I've been having solved within a short period of time. Who knew I was using too much water? I learned some great information and came away from Jerry's with over 100 dollars worth of supplies. I'm like a kid in a candy store at that place. It's addictive! The Liquitex Rep was named Michele. I know her last name was French Canadian. I'll look it up and post it. I'll also dig out her website information. She was a wellspring of information! Thanks Michele!
Well, got to get going today. So much to do...
Do something OUTRAGEOUS today! :D
