New Fascination

I know that I'm always learning something new but I found something this weekend that I can't wait to try!

I have often wondered when I went to galleries how some artists got that really shiny thick covering on their paintings...now I know - Epoxy Resin!

I'm sure many of you already knew about this but I didn't.  I have watched several artists using resin to cover their work and it turns out beautifully.  If any of you have experience working with epoxy resin, I would love to hear how you like it, tips, etc...

I was also struck by some of the different methods artists were employing the epoxy.  Fascinating.  I feel like a kid in a candy store. :)
