It's also been a hard time for me personally. The house being in turmoil, everyone's schedules have been insane and school is about to start. We spent a few days at the beach. It was not a relaxing trip (with parents and kids in a hotel sharing a room). I have always loved the beach but on this particular trip I couldn't wait to get home. Myrtle Beach is not my idea of relaxing. Rushing back to meet our son's teacher and help with the house and on and on and on. I'm just exhausted mentally and physically. There are other things as well that I won't even get into here.
Unfortunately painting has totally been on my back burner. I hate that but there is really no choice to it right now. With my children starting school this Tuesday I'm hoping that I can get some things cleared out of my studio. We stored a lot of things in there while the contractors were working.
I guess what scares me is that I currently feel devoid of inspiration. I am lost because I've not been maintaining my meditation practice. As of tomorrow I will not have been able to attend my class for 3 weeks (for various reasons). I'm hoping that I'll be more diligent in returning to my practice when all this dust settles. It truly does help in many ways.
Now that I've been a total ray of sunshine I hope that you all are doing well. That you are finding some inspiration in your lives in whatever form that makes you happy.
Today is my youngest son's Birthday - he's now 7. One of my best friends Birthday is tomorrow and I've been a terrible friend and forgot to mail her stuff to her. I'm hoping she'll not be too disappointed with me.
Here is hoping that we all have a very good week and find something each day to marvel at.

PS. STILL have a dead computer and still mooching time on my husband's laptop. I really hope to have it fixed soon though it's not looking promising.
